JVC READY TO KICK OFF
"EURO 2000(tm)" UEFA EUROPEAN FOOTBALL CHAMPIONSHIP

From June 10 through July 2, 2000, JVC will be there as Europe's best come together to vie for the top spot in European football. And for the first time ever, two countries -- the Netherlands and Belgium -- will play host to one of Europe's biggest sporting events.

JVC has been an Official Sponsor of the UEFA European Football Championship (tm) since the 1980 tournament hosted in Italy. JVC has continued to support this quadrennial event ever since, and over the years it has seen impressive growth, with the 2000 match being broadcast in an estimated 200 countries to a projected cumulative audience of 7 billion. With the popularity of football in Europe and the high caliber of play on the field, the UEFA European Football Championship(tm) rivals the FIFA World Cup (which JVC also officially sponsors) as a showcase for football excellence.
