Las Vegas, NV (CES, January 7-10, 1999) -- JVC Mobile Entertainment Division has greatly enhanced its 1999 lineup of in-dash cassette receivers, adding features that meet the needs of consumers who own large cassette libraries but still desire CD Changer Control options. Each of these high-performance units offer a myriad of convenience features that will excite even the most demanding listener.

The new KS-FX440 In-Dash Cassette Receiver boasts 160 watts of high power, transmitted via four powerful 40 watt speakers, surrounding the listener with high-quality Dolby-B sound. It has an HS-II Tuner featuring 18 FM and 6 AM presets and Sound Control Memory so that it does not have to be constantly reset. The cassette deck features a full Logic Deck Mechanism, and the unit can be J-Linked to a CD Changer Control which frees the user from having to manually insert each individual disc. Line Output Terminals for additional speakers, and Wireless Remote Control demonstrate the versatility of this unit.

The KS-FX240 also has 40 W x 4 power, CD Changer Control (J-Link), an HS-II Tuner, Sound Control Memory, Full Logic Deck Mechanism and Line Output Terminals. This versatile unit offers users direct disc select (1 to 12 CDs) with random or repeat play, and the cassette features Multi music scan (1 to 9), auto reverse, and repeat play modes. A detachable trim plate with carrying case offers added security.

The KS-F110, with 35 x 4 W x 4 audio power, features Changer Control, Sound Control Memory, a built-in noise filter, and a detachable control panel with carrying case. The cassette mechanism offers auto reverse, and the amplifier has pre-amp fader control.

Each of JVC's In-Dash Changer Control Cassette Receivers can be either front or rear mounted, providing the ideal installation options. In addition, each unit has a poser antenna lead, seek/scan features, 18 FM and 6 AM presets, and a bright LED display.
