JVC INTRODUCES T130SX VIDEO TAPE
-- New 130 Minute Time Suits More Of TodayÌs Films --
Orlando, FL, April 13, 1997...JVC, the inventor of VHS, is introducing T130SX -- a high performance video tape designed for todayÌs age of home video consumers.
In the SP Mode, the tape delivers 130 minutes or two hours and ten minutes, while in the EP Mode, the tape delivers 390 minutes or six hours and thirty minutes. This is the first time JVC has offered a 130 minute blank video tape.
"JVC is committed to providing consumers with the quality and performance videotape they require," said Geri Siscaretti, Merchandising Manager for JVCÌs Magnetic Tape Division. "Currently 130 minute tape is a niche market but the demand is increasing," she added.
Compared with many of the 120 minute blank video tapes on the market today, the T130SX gives the consumer 10 more minutes of recording time. ThatÌs a more important issue to many consumers since the majority of todayÌs movies and TV specials are running longer that 120 minutes -- sometimes by 5 or 10 minutes. The T130SX will be able to accommodate those longer running times so consumers donÌt have to run a new tape or lose the ending.
A life-time warranty also comes with the T130SX.
The T130SX recently began shipping at a nationally advertised value of $3.49.
