JVC INTRODUCES THE RC-QC7
COMPACT 3-DISC CHANGER
-- Changer More Compact, Easier To Use --
Orlando, FL, April 13, 1997...JVCÌs new RC-QC7 compact CD-Changer portable system showcases the companyÌs sleek new 3-Disc Changer for todayÌs mobile music enthusiasts. ItÌs one of several attractive features on this modernistic, slimline personal audio product.
In addition to being more compact and easier to use, the new, compact changer mechanism consists of a master tray and three subtrays that each hold a disc. True to JVCÌs 3-CD changer concept, itÌs a "Play and Exchange" system. While one disc is being played, you can change the other two without stopping the music. The ALL CD EJECT function also lets you eject all three subtrays to load or change three discs at once.
Other features for the CD changer include 3-CD continuous/program (20 tracks) repeat/random play; and a 1-bit D/A converter.
Meanwhile, the RC-QC7 also sports COMPU PLAY, which allows user to simply touch a source button (CD, cassette or tuner) and have the power turned on and all the other startup steps performed automatically; and Active Hyper Bass PRO, sound circuitry which minimizes the suppression and muffling of middle frequencies while reproducing dynamic low frequency sound.
Tape enthusiasts will gravitate to such features as Dual "feature touch" full-logic cassette and CD Synchro-Start Recording. Radio-files will note a digital tuner and the ability to have 30 preset stations (15 AM/ 15 FM).
Complete specs on the RC-QC7 are: All CD EJECT for easy disc exchange; 1 bit D/A converter; 8-times oversampling digital filter; 3-CD continuous/program (20 tracks)/repeat/random play; 15 AM, 15 FM presets; Auto preset; Auto reverse (rec/play); Multi source one touch recording; High-speed editing; Continuous play; Full auto stop; Active Hyper-Bass (on/off); 3 preset EQ patterns (Beat/Pop/Clear); COMPU Play; Clock/timer (with sleep and wake-up volume); and PHONES, AUX, AC IN jacks.
The RC-QC7 will be available in August with a national ad value of $250.
