Orlando, FL, April 13, 1997...JVC is taking compact components of todayÌs modern lifestyle to new levels with the introduction of the EX Series Compact Components, the EXTD7 and the EXTD5.

This incredible new series is elegant and stylish with its simple design, aluminum panels and powerful bass sound. The EX Series boasts several new technological advances, including a new 3-Disc Changer, Dolby Pro Logic 3D-Phonic, S.A. BASS (Signal Adaptive Bass System), and Powered subwoofers.

JVC has also developed a new 3-disc changer mechanism that is even more compact and easier to use than previous interactions. The new, compact changers consists of a master tray and three subtrays that each hold a disc. True to JVCÌs 3-disc changer concept, itÌs a "Play and Exchange" system. While one disc is being played, you can play the other two without stopping the music. An ALL CD EJECT button also allows a user to eject all three subtrays to load or change three discs at once. Also, the disc-to-disc access time has been significantly reduced making it one of the speediest changers on the market today.

The Dolby Pro Logic 3D-Phonic technology featured on the EX-TD7, creates incredible surround sound from two speakers using a sophisticated digital signal processor. The newly developed S.A. BASS circuit is an "intelligent and adaptive" system which checks the levels of low frequency components in the incoming signal and sets the optimum boosting levels accordingly.
