JVC SIGNIFICANTLY EXPANDS ITS DIGIFINE LINE OF IN-DASH CD RECEIVERS AND IN-DASH CASSETTES LED BY ENHANCED FEATURES
Las Vegas, NV, January 9,1997...JVC once again takes a leadership mobile audio position with the introduction of three new In-Dash CD Receivers --including the KD-GS929, KD-GS828 and KD-GS727; and two new In-Dash Cassette Receivers -- including the KS-RT626 and KS-RT424. All are part of JVC's high-end Digifine line of auto electronics introduced in Spring 1996. Many of the up per end units feature a bevy of newer and/or enhanced features such as greater power (40 watts per channel, up from 35 watts on previous generation product), Detachable Flip-Down faces, Voice Support System 3, Preferred Setting Mode, and larger more eye-pleasing Blue Green LCD illumination.
According to Tom Caronia, Vice President, JVC Mobile Electronics Division: "We are increasing our assortment in CD and cassette. There's strong new cosmetic appeal. We're made the displays bigger. We're added some flip down faces and emphasized more safety features. The majority of DIN cassettes will have changer control. Overall, we're adding a lot more value and features." Among stand-out features of the top-of-the-line KD-GS929 are next generation Voice Support System 3, Dual 4 Volt Gold Outputs, Detachable Flip Down Face and Audio Cruise mode. JVC's popular Voice Support System utilizes a female voice to respond to the touch of a control key and reaffirms the command. It's not necessary to look at the front panel display of the receiver each time a key is pressed. And the voice never interrupts the music. JVC's popular Audio Cruise Mode is a feature which detects a car engine's revolutions, thus setting the optimum volume level. Once the level is set to your auto and personal taste, the volume will automatically turn up to counteract increased noise if the driver speeds up.
