JVC'S SUPER DIGIFINE MINI COMPONENTS F3000 SYSTEM WINS INNOVATION '97 AWARD

Las Vegas, NV, January 9, 1997....JVC Company of America has introduced the F3000 Super Digifine Mini Components System which arrived on retail shelves in time for the holiday selling period. In addition, the F3000 was selected as an Innovations '97 award winner at the 1997 International Winter Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas.

With the F3000 Series, consumers not only get state-of-the-art sound performance, but eye-catching, classic looks and extraordinary ease-of-use as well. The Series features an aluminum front panel finished in elegant champagne gold. Hooking up the components is easy with JVC's foolproof ribbon cable connectors.

"COMPU PLAY" allows for instant playback performance by the simple touch of any source button. The system will be equally at home in households and offices with its concept uniqueness, upscale market appeal and benchmark audio quality. In tandem, the F3000 Series consists of the AX-F3000 Integrated Amplifier, the FX-F3000 Tuner, the XL-F3000 Compact Disc Player, the TD-F3000 Cassette Deck, and the SX-F3000 Speaker System. The AX-F3000 Integrated Amplifier features a power output of 35 watts per channel into 4 ohms; JVC's proprietary Advanced Super-A technology (with Constant Current circuit); discrete outputs; COMPU PLAY; CD DIRECT switch; a "presence" circuit; six audio inputs (PHONO, CD, TUNER, TAPE, AUX, and MD); base/treble tone controls; and full-function remote control. The FX-F3000 Tuner boasts 40 AM/FM station memory and programmable timer (daily, record, sleep). The XL-F3000 Compact Disc Player features JVC's exclusive 1-bit P.E.M.D.D. Converter, 20-track program chart, program play of up to 32 tracks, and an optical digital output. The TD-F300 Cassette Deck sports a 5-motor Silent Mechanism with full-logic control, double auto-reverse transports, and Dolby B/C HX Pro noise reduction. Finally, the SX-F3000 Speaker System features 2-way base reflex design, 5 3/8-inch corrugated cone woofer with 1-inch dome tweeter, MDF (Medium Density Fiber) board cabinet, and magnetic shielding.
