Las Vegas, NV, January 9, 1997...Two new 12-Disc Changers have been added to the JVC Mobile Electronics line -- the KD-MK88RF and the KD-MK88. Both still boast the distinction of being the worldÌs smallest 12-Disc Changers.

In addition to having the worldÌs smallest 12-Disc Changer, the new KD-MK88RF 12-Disc Changer also features Wireless Remote Control and enhanced cosmetics.

Among other features of the KD-MK88RF 12-Disc Changer, which replaces the previous KD-MK79RF, are Disc Scan, Intro Scan, Variable Output Level, Frequency Selection (88.1 - 89.9), Power Servo System, Dual Noise Shaper, 3 Beam Laser Pick Up, Horizontal/Vertical Mounting, 1-Bit DAC\, and 8x Oversampling.

Among additional features offered by the new KD-MK88 12-Disc Changer are a Power Servo System, 1-Bit DAC\, 8x Oversampling, Dual Noise Shaper, 3 Beam Laser Pick, and Horizontal/Vertical Mounting. The unit, which replaces the previous MK77, also sports more eye-appealing cosmetics.

Consumers have come to appreciate the state-of-the-art technology of JVCÌs compact size 12-Disc Changers. The Changer cabinets are capable of holding the very compact XC-M120 magazine, thanks to ultra-thin laser pickups employing double-magnet disc chucking and advanced vibration/shock proof suspension mechanisms. The result is unprecedented flexibility to mount an extra long playing CD changer system inside a car.

JVC has also developed a highly advanced vibration/shock proof mechanism called Power Servo. Employing a new wire suspension system, the Power Servo delivers greatly improved vibration/shock resistance. Even when the changer is installed vertically, the four ultra-thin wires (featuring oval cross sections) effectively support the pickup with less deviation. At the same time, the improvement of the tracking motor driver IC effectively widens the dynamic range of the driver output. This greatly improves servo tracking performance. As a result, the CD Changer can be installed almost anywhere in the car.
