The Free Layout concept is ideal for schools
In May 1997, VIPSLAN-10 was installed throughout the school compound of Yokohama Municipal Honmachi Elementary School as its sole network.

The wired LAN system installed in the school had a number of problems, from the inability to string wiresacross firewall corridors, to the fact that students were tripping over the cables. The school built a network system connecting desktop computers in classrooms and laptop computers in 20 faculty rooms with the focus on Satellite to Node and Station to Station systems. VIPSLAN-10 was the perfect solution for these problems. VIPSLAN-10 brings layout freedom and reliability together. The freedom it offers is ideal for school environments.
