Capacity

JVC America (JAI) has the capacity to replicate over 13 million CDs and 11 million DVDs per month in its Tuscaloosa, Alabama plant. An additional 15 million CDs and 2 million DVDs are produced in our Rinkan, Japan facility. Blu ray manufacturing was added to our Japan plant in 2008 with additional capacity available through our strategic partnership agreements in the United States.

JAI can assemble over 1 million retail packages or “kits” in a single day and has shipped over 25 million units in a single month to over 30,000 destinations, filling orders as small as a single unit to tens of thousands per destination.

JAI has exeptional engineering and design resources that enable us to design and build fully automated production lines for popular packaging formats such as CD-audio, PC-CD/DVD-PC software, home video, and videogame platforms including Microsoft Xbox®, Sony Playstation®, Nintendo Wii® and NDS®. Other automated equipment includes marketing continuity packaging; direct personalized marketing and gift /subscription card packaging. We offer high-speed sleeving, mail insertion, clam and blister seal, shrinkwrap and fin wrap.

While automation is a cost effective solution for high volume projects, custom and “on-demand” packaging is commonplace. JAI has numerous work cells designed to handle kitting projects of any size and scope with maximum flexibility and efficiency. No project is too large or too small.
