JVC is proud to partner with the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex. Akira Ochida, president JVC Americas Corp, said, "The Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex provides an opportunity for JVC to showcase our technological leadership with both consumer and professional audio and video products."
As the "official consumer electronics" partner of Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex, JVC will provide audio and video equipment throughout the Complex. The partnership coincides with the 70th anniversary of JVC, which was founded as the Victor Talking Machine Company that originally manufactured and marketed phonographs and records.
The Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex is the gateway for visitors to Launch Complex 39, where NASA prepares and launches the Space Shuttle and which will soon be the launch site for International Space Station elements. The 70-acre Visitor Complex includes interactive space experiences, audio/visual presentations, actual rockets, space artifacts and educational exhibits. The Complex also has a number of state-of the-art theaters featuring space-themed movies, some using JVC's high-performance ILA video projector. In addition, guests may tour the launch areas by bus and attend live briefings on launch preparations.
