JVC JAZZ FESTIVAL TO PLAY EIGHT NORTH AMERICAN CITIES IN 1999

In addition to the JVC Jazz Festival New York schedule, which was announced at a press conference here today, 1999 JVC Jazz Festivals will also take place in Newport, Los Angeles, the San Francisco Bay area, Chicago, Atlanta, Winter Park (CO), and Toronto.

The JVC Jazz Festival New York, June 14-27, will include approximately 300 artists performing at nearly 40 venues across New York City and Englewood, New Jersey.

The JVC Jazz Festival returns to Colorado for the third year, and will take place in Winter Park.

    The artists for the JVC Jazz Festival Newport, August 13-15, will be announced at a press conference on May 13, in Newport. This will be the fourth consecutive year that the QE2 cruises to Newport and drops anchor near Ft. Adams State Park, in conjunction with the JVC Jazz Festival.
