JVC stands out from the crowd by building 40-second Shock Protection into its new line of portable MDs, quadrupling the industry standard of just 8-seconds of protection. Music junkies wonÌt miss a beat or listen to jagged sounds if they encounter a disturbance along the way because JVCÌs MD portables, playing from memory, will have 40 seconds to catch up again.

Top-Of-The-Line Gives Long-Lasting Sounds
JVCÌs super-slim XM-R70 portable MD recorder heads up the pack with style and convenience. This artful portable is engineered to miraculously feature both record and playback. A sampling rate converter allows flexible recording from MDs (32kHz), CDÌs (44.1 kHz), or DAT (48kHZ).

A 2 line10-character display shows information about the disc or tune you entered while recording, like the title and the artist. The remote control features a 10-character back-illuminated blue LCD panel for display and a jog (dial) control for easy use.
